While working with patients in Sangamner, we not only provided medical services but also experienced the living essence of humanity, said renowned American plastic surgeon Dr. Larry Weinstein in an emotional statement. Dr. Weinstein noted that he was overwhelmed by the affection in Sangamner, the patients' trust in the treatment, and the high professional quality of the medical experts here. He said that the intelligence, patience, and skill of the anesthesiologists here were remarkable, and the hope in the eyes of each patient and their trust in the treatment touched his heart. He clarified that this service, which reached needy patients, has brought a new ray of hope into the lives of many. Expressing gratitude to project head Dr. Suchit Gandhi, Lions Club of Sangamner, and the Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana for their valuable contribution to this service initiative, Weinstein remarked that Sangamner has not only given him a field of work but also a heartfelt memory to cherish for a lifetime. The free plastic surgery camp organized by the Lions Club of Sangamner for needy patients living with inferiority complexes due to physical deformities was successfully concluded. This two-day camp was organized at Dr. Praveen Kumar Pansare's Dhanvantari Hospital in memory of Dr. Sharadkumar Dixit.

Project heads Dr. Suchit Gandhi and Raniprasad Mundada said that the Lions Club of Sangamner has been consistently organizing such camps for the past 26 years. Many patients face social, educational, and professional difficulties due to cleft lips, cleft palates, strabismus, crooked noses, ear deformities, body scars, lumps, and congenital hand and foot deformities. The main objective of this initiative is to bring such patients into the mainstream of society with self-respect. Approximately 150 patients were examined during this two-day camp, and successful surgeries were performed on 47 of them. Renowned plastic surgeons Dr. Larry Weinstein and Dr. Whitney from the United States, along with their colleagues, made a valuable contribution to this camp by coming all the way from America. Entrepreneurs Girish Malpani, Mayor Dr. Maithili Tambe, Mahesh Mayur of Om Mayur Jewelers, Merchant Bank Chairman Madhusudan Navandar, Srinivas Pagdal,

Ashish Bub, Eknath Pansare, and others paid courtesy visits, inquired about the participants, and praised the initiative. The camp received valuable support from the Ramnarayan Bub Memorial Trust, along with Malpani Industries, Amritvahini Cooperative Bank, Vijay & Sharda, Sangram Nagari Patasanstha, Om Mayur Jewelers, Dhanvantari Hospital, and Umagauri Women's Foundation. Dr. Aniket Kasar, Dr. Rasika Wagholikar, Dr. Datir, Dr. Vineet Sukhtankar, and Dr. Hase provided their services. Dr. Suchit Gandhi, Raniprasad Mundada, Chetan Kardile, along with all the office bearers and volunteers, worked tirelessly to make the camp a success.
